European spruce is known for its light weight and stiffness, providing a sound thats full in overtones, and ripe with nuance and tone color. Its concert body shape is well-balanced, compact and comfortable to play, generating an articulate tonal range with an ample low end, plus a soft cutaway for easy access to every fret. The African mahogany neck has a soft C-shaped profile, whose slimmer design and satin finish enable comfortable play for any hand size. The bolt-on neck and single-action truss rod provide easy adjustment for both the play action and neck angle.The Discovery S Concert acoustic-electric guitar also features EcoTonewood back and sidesa process of integrating three layers of sustainably harvested tonewoods to produce an environmentally friendly instrument with vibrant sound.
